The Millfields Trust provides a platform to enable businesses to grow and develop, by offering high quality affordable business space for rental with flexible terms. We have an on-site managed reception facility within the HQ Business Centre, only a few minutes walk from the prestigious Millfields Complex where our other business premises are sited. We pride ourselves in offering our resident tenants business support and access to our database of contacts, whom we work in partnership with, signposting to specialist services.
Sandwich Island was the concept of Beth Taylor a local Stonehouse resident. The initial Idea for a sandwich shop was put to Roger Pipe of the Millfields Trust which with their help and support became a reality. Beth and her daughter Andrea are partners of Sandwich Island and the small business has grown rapidly over the past six years, now employing four members of staff.
Sandwich Island provide bespoke freshly made sandwiches and salad boxes, customers choose their own type of bread and select fillings from the Abundance of Fresh, locally sourced goodies in the shop. We also cater for buffets and platters. We are proud to announce that our produce, along with our staff are locally sourced, this enables the company to keep to a minimum its carbon footprint.
