Investing in Local Communities

 

Through our Millfields Trust Community Grant, we provide funding to groups, organisations and projects that are making a real difference.

What is the Community Grant?

The Millfields Trust Community Grant provides financial support for projects that benefit local communities and align with our commitment to social impact.

 We welcome applications from community groups, charities, voluntary organisations, schools and grassroots initiatives working to improve the lives of local people in PL1 3 & PL1 5

Funding can be used to support a wide range of activities, including:

  • Community events and activities

  • Health and wellbeing initiatives

  • Youth projects

  • Environmental improvements

  • Arts and cultural programmes

  • Education and skills development

  • Projects that reduce isolation and strengthen community connections

 

The Community Grant programme allows us to support innovative ideas, grassroots projects and community-led initiatives that might otherwise struggle to access funding.

We know that even small grants can have a big impact, helping organisations launch new projects, reach more people and create lasting change.

  • “Karate in the Community CIC were delighted to be awarded a grant by Millfields Trust to allow us to deliver a series of tailored workshops to Ukrainian Space Plymouth's Youth Group.
